OUR PURPOSE

To offer young people rewarding life experiences and moments through the art and sport of dance
by way of teachers, mentors and friends who care for them as family.

OUR PRINCIPLES

1. We will always put making a difference ahead of making money.
2. We will not hire out-of-shape, disrespectful, only-in-it-for-the-money instructors.
3. We will not hire even the best instructors unless they embrace our principles.
4. We will always require “100% honesty” from everyone.
5. We will insist that our dancers respect their bodies.
6. We will let the quality of the class experience dictate the quantity of dancers in it.
7. We will choose assistants by their work ethic, leadership, attitude and continuing desire to learn.
8. We will insist that studio instructors walk their talk.
9. We will offer the same fair treatment to every dancer, regardless of level or ability.
10. We will be a reliable studio dancers can count on.
11. We will never allow dancers to create negative situations for a class or group.
12. We will always consider our dancers as part of a family, not a business, and care for them accordingly.
13. We will always follow the same warm up routine for jazz, so returning alumni can instantly feel at home.
14. We will always take the time and make the effort to understand each dancer’s individual motivations.
15. We will hold every dancer accountable to do and be their best.
16. We will accept all consequences associated with adhering to our purpose and principles.
17. We will share more than dance, we will share the dance of life.

OUR POSITIONS

1. We are teachers, coaches and mentors who consider all our dancers to be athletes, and we work with them accordingly
to treat their bodies with care and respect.
2. We are not a babysitting facility or day care program.
3. We are a dance studio that wants to help teach our students life lessons.
